Barbara Bed: Barbara is a bed. She gets to give people a nice peaceful rest through the night and a nice nap in the daytime.
Tonella Table: Tonella is a table. She gets to give people a place to eat. If it weren't for Tonella the people that live in the house would have to eat on the floor.
Vicci Vacuum: Vicci is the Vacuum cleaner. He gets to clean all the floors and move around all day. He loves what he does because he gets to help people.
Kyle Carpet: Kyle is a carpet. He runs all through the house keeping the wooden floors clean. He literally lets people walk all over him (pun intended) and he loves it. If it weren't for Kyle then all the wooden floors would be scratched and ruined from all the walking.
All the household items have very non ideal living situations, but yet they love what they do. Would you take anywhere of their spots? Probably not. All of our household items that we use everyday enjoy what they do, even if it's painful or hard. We could learn a lot from them and this blog is designed to help us learn.
A new Household has decided to join the clan, here is:
Deborah Dishwasher: Deborah is a dishwasher, she washes the dishes no matter how dirty it is. Deborah stays optimistic because she knows she has helping keep the house tidy and provide her family with dishes.
These household items all have one thing in common, despite their not so positive jobs they somehow seem to stay positive! They love what they do and it shows but if it weren't for them, there is a lot of things that could not get done. They have a huge affect on our everyday lives and we sometimes take it for granted...
Kids! Take a look around your home and keep a look out for Kyle, Deborah, Vicci, Tonella, Barbara, and Harold.
